Laparoscopic rectal resection for and pull-through for Hirschsprung's

This technique uses laparoscopic techniques to remove the rectum if it does not contain the special nerve cells for normal contraction and peristalsis. The normal bowel is then brought down to the anus and sutured in place. By using laparoscopic techniques, the bowel can be mobilized and removed, avoiding large incisions. This allows the bowel to return to function faster.
