Endoscopic cyst fenestration

Through a nickel-sized opening in the skull, a small endoscope is passed into the spinal fluid containing lateral ventricle inside the brain. The wall of the cyst is identified and one or more holes are made. By connecting the cyst to the spinal fluid space, fluid in the cyst no longer collects and pressure is relieved.
